Cate completed formal training in Fashion and Costume Design in her native Britain and has gone on to design feature films, television, ballet, and theatre.
Her most recent credits include seasons 3 & 4 of Man in the High Castle, an Amazon original series. For which she has been honored with a CDG a nomination for Best Costume Design for a Period Television Show (Season 3).
Cate’s other work includes: The Son, an AMC series. Bosch, for Amazon Studios. ABC’s Desperate Housewives for which she has received four Emmy Award nominations and three Costume Design Guild Award nominations. Dreamworks’ Win a Date with Tad Hamilton. Columbia Pictures’ I Know What You Did Last Summer. And Oprah Winfrey’s critically acclaimed Before Women Had Wings.
She also has designed for the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, the Washington Ballet, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, and the National Player’s Touring Company.
